Members > Rosalind Webb

Rosalind, a native of Atlanta, Ga., earned BS degree
from Clark College in Biology and Chemistry. Later, she received a degree
in Medical Technology and worked several years in that field.
In 1980, she became interested in painting. She studied
with several nationally known artists to learn and perfect her technique.
She states that "the use of color and texture in her watercolors
and collages communicate the excitement of her surroundings and experiences
of life". That same feeling is also found in her oil paintings, ceramics
and pottery.
Rosalind has had several one-woman shows in addition
to group and gallery shows. Her works are found in many homes and offices
around the country. And in 2003, she had an exhibit in the Governor’s
Office at the Georgia State Capital.
Rosalind has earned signature member status in the Southwest
Watercolor, Florida Watercolor and Georgia Watercolor Societies, and has
received numerous awards from various nationally juried competitions throughout
the country. Among them are Corsicana Art League National Exhibition,
Texas Area Artists, Afro-American Artist Exhibition-North Carolina, Richardson
Art Society Regional Show, Lake Worth 19th National Juried Competition,
Miami Watercolor Society and Georgia State Fair.
