Visual Artists Collective, Henry County, Georgia - Making Tracks Around Henry County

Getting the attention of our community, and giving them something in the arts to talk about we used shoes as the canvas for 2004 Summer Art Promotion. Shoes of every description became works of art as artists outdid themselves by demonstrating their creative abilities, and unique vision for each pair of shoes. The shoes were on display in Hampton at Miss Alice's shop in June. She reports that people really enjoyed see this exhibit in her window. and had quite a lot to say about them. In July they made tracks to Locust Grove to the window of the Zebra House before heading to McDonough. There they joined up with two other exhibits at the PAC, painted golf bags, and abstract art, making a spectacular display. The shoes made a final appearance at Damon's for September and October.
