Working with other non-profit organizations, and children at risk is a very important part of the community outreach program of the VAC. Our previous involvements have included working on a community mural with children at risk, hosting summer art classes for foster children, participating with March of Dimes, donating art to United Way,and various other art related involvements. This last year we were called on to create works of art for the Bedford School for Children with Learning Disabilities in Fairburn. The artwork was created on wooden chairs, stools and benches and donated to the school for auction.
